BSB Concert

To celebrate my Mom and Big Sister's bday back in August I bought us tickets to go see the Backstreet Boys. They were lawn tickets but we still had a really great time.

This was magical in person. Everything was lit up *^*

I'm sure if you ask anyone about this concert they'd tell you it was AWESOME!!! They still have an amazing voice and all the old dance moves. They even put to shame an up and coming boy group they came on before them. I would go to another concert if of course I could score another great deal on it ;)

Didn't wear anything special because I had to try to stay as cool as possible. Texas weather can be pretty brutal.

If you have a chance to see them I'd say do it. But definitely take some friends with you because the energy is something that should be shared with some cool people :)

Outfit Dump 58 - 62

Man, I have neglected this blog like the black plague. I'm so behind so I'm going to have lots of outfit dumps so I can attempt to catch up.

I wore this back in July to take my Mother-in-law out to celebrate her birthday. We went to get her nails/toes done, get her makeup done (and some false eyelashes) and pick out a new wig. I don't think my outfit was too extreme but I did get a lot of comments from people all day, from negative to positive. lol My MIL liked it and didn't mind me being dressed the way I was so I didn't really care what others said, just find it funny.

 

Had an HLC meet-up at NASA also. So I wore a space themed outfit.

The next day one of the girls from our community had a launch for the online store she was starting out so I dressed up in Lolita (but nothing fancy). You can see more pictures and details about her store here.

2 X the Bday Celebrations

Back in July I had a very fun filled Saturday. In the afternoon I met up my Big Sister, Niece and her old teacher at a local movie theater to celebrate my Niece's birthday ^^

Not sure if you could tell but we went to see the movie Despicable Me 2 XD It was such a great movie! I highly recommend it, but you need to watch part 1 first; which is what I did the night before online >< lol

After the movie ended we walked around for a little bit and got some sugary goodness at a local bakery called Sweet. The sunny weather was nice but kinda hot with all the layers I had on.

Later we parted ways and I rushed home to get ready for the other birthday celebration I was attending that night. You can see more pictures and read about that part here, but here's one of the shots I took.

I love birthdays! It's a time you get to celebrate someone you care about for just being them <3

Family Time at the Zoo

At the end of last year my Mom, Big Sister, Little Sister and Me took the day off from work and went to see my Big Brother and do some shopping. We ended up having such a great time that we decided that we should do it again.

So finally last month we were all able coordinate a Friday off from work and made plans to take our nephew/grandson/son (my brother's son. lol) on his first trip to the zoo. Which was super exciting since I had been wanting to go for the longest time <3

We all packed into my Big Sister's car, and man was it packed. We were 6 adults, my nephew w/his car seat, and a cooler with a stroller thingy on top

The tickets had different animals on them. So cool

I tried hard to narrow down the pics I took (274 I think).
There were just so many cool things and the animals were so cute.

Our first stop when we got in was the aquarium. It was in a separate building so as soon as we walked in the first tank was filled with small Jellyfish <3 I had never seen any irl and it was such a magical moment. They were so adorable yet captivating with each movement （*´▽｀*）

Snakes are so freakin awesome. Got lots of pics of them but didn't want to spam so the Eastern Diamond-Backed Rattlesnake won. Those eyes... so much respect for these dangerous animals

This day was beyond words. We had so much fun and really enjoyed each other's company. I say this alot but time spent with family are some of my most precious moments. Hope we get to do more stuff like this again.

Outfit Post #33

Another short outfit post; hope to catch up soon. I know I say that every time, but for cereal. Going to try scheduling things I need to do at home so I use my time better during the week. I tend to get lazy when I get home and not do anything so the things I should be doing everyday go undone and my list just grows. Maybe if I do that my weekends can be used to be lazy or whatever it is I want to do and not feel guilty or anxious about it <3

Anyways, this is just another casual outfit for the weekend. I'm really enjoying using black and white as an accent then adding in more colors. On this day I used my butterfly dress (yes again) and brought out the black/white, pink & yellow. To help bring out the black and white even more I made a panda pin for my dress. So this outfit is kinda panda-y again. I also wore my panda purse but forgot to wear it for my pictures. Not a big deal since I wear it so often ;P

Here's another short post.

I can't remember exactly what I did this day but probably just some errands and such :)

I really like this dress, it was a buy from Plato's closet when I went with my Mom and Sisters.

It kinda reminds me of The New Girl style. lol And is very versatile.

Breaking Dawn

On Sunday my good friend and I finally decided to get out and watch the last movie of the Twilight series. Both of us had lots of people telling us it was a must watch and that there was a twist at the end so we were both super excited to watch it. I originally planned to have Adrian there but then decided against it because I really wanted to have some girl time and to be able to fangirl over it without being made fun of. lol

Talin came over to my place first and we watched Breaking Dawn pt. 1, since we only watched it in the theater when it first came out. Best decision ever because it made us even more hyped on our way to the theater. lol

I decided to wear all black (because it reminds me of vampires although Twilight doesn't have that kind. lol) Man was it hard to not grab my black and white striped stockings or my panda stuff  >-< and I felt a little odd in all black so I added my new ring so I wasn't ALL black. Adrian made the comment "Why do you wear all black when I'm not with you?" lol. His favorite color is black.

Talin and I had a really good time and the movie was as awesome as everyone said *(^o^)* plus we were able to catch up on life and girl stuff which I am always down for. Me and Adrian went out for dinner when I got home so he was able to enjoy his all black wearing wife after all. lol. I'm really sad that Twilight and Harry Potter have both come to end (XoX) Guess I need another book or movie series to read/watch or maybe I should just read/watch them all over again. Hmmmm... Anyone have any good suggestions? Love to hear them...
